Transforming lives with ABA services
At HER Behavioral Health, LLC, we offer Applied Behavior Analysis that truly makes a difference. Discover our unique, community-based approach designed to empower individuals and support families throughout Maryland, DC, and Virginia.
Our unique ABA approach
What makes HER Behavioral Health stand out is our belief that ABA should seamlessly integrate into a person’s life, rather than demanding their life conform to therapy. Our community-based approach provides support for meaningful skill development where it truly matters; at home, at school, and within the wider community.
Whole-person focus
Each treatment plan is customized around an individual's strengths, needs, interests, communication style, and family priorities, focusing on functional communication, independence, and social connection.
Family partnerships
Families are integral partners in treatment. We prioritize collaboration, caregiver support, and open communication to ensure progress continues beyond scheduled therapy sessions.
Compassion and fun
HER Behavioral Health blends evidence-based ABA with compassion, creativity, respect, and fun, ensuring individuals feel understood and celebrated while receiving high-quality support.

Who we serve
HER Behavioral Health supports children, teens, and young adults ages 2–25 who can benefit from individualized ABA services. We are ideally suited for families seeking assistance with functional communication, social skills, emotional and behavioral regulation, daily living skills, school readiness, safety, and greater independence. We also proudly support individuals who use alternative communication methods, including AAC devices.
Expected positive outcomes
Families can anticipate meaningful growth in areas that enhance daily life, foster connections, and promote independence. Depending on individual needs and goals, progress may include stronger functional communication, improved social and play skills, greater independence in daily routines, increased safety awareness, smoother transitions, better coping and self-regulation, and reductions in behaviors that hinder learning or everyday activities. Our goal is to help each individual develop practical skills that increase independence, confidence, participation, and overall quality of life.
